Childrens picture book: My First Tagalog Numbers Book
My wife and I wanted to teach our children how to count in their native Filipino language of Tagalog. We noticed that there wasn't a simple Tagalog numbers picture book on the market, so we created one with the help of an illustrator. We must admit, both of us being first generation Filipino-Americans, we learned how to properly spell and count to ten with this project.
As a result, our 3 yr old toddler at the time, counted to ten in Tagalog. It is so gratifying to teach and hear their voices count - grandma and grandpa (lola and lolo) got a kick out it too!
The book dimensions are square about 6" x 6" so that its portable and easy for a toddler to hold. Numbers go from counting one through ten of colorful imagery done by an award winning children's illustrator.
