This is a prototype and fully rideable.   Ride on to all involved! Much appreciated for the past, present, and future support.  We'll be testing this and seeing what we can learn from this build.  The next build will be underway so stay tuned!

Before I could lower my "kickstand" to register for the race, friendly and interested onlookers swarmed the bamboo fixed gear frame.  The race was a  2 day racing event at the Portland International Raceway (PIR).  Not only was the bamboo bike on display but I also had the opportunity to race it on both days. 

I met Ahmed at Venice Beach while he was doing some unseen tricks on his BMX bike while drawing a crowd.  He is well known in the BMX flatlander community and an active competitor.  We are thrilled to have Ahmed as a pilot customer.   As we know, bamboo is nearly indestructive and dampens vibrations so we are hoping this will only enhance Ahmed's performance.  

Thanks to Joseph Mata our first builder in the Philippines in making this prototype.  He has great attention to detail and brings with him generations of skills working with bamboo.

Excited to announce that a bamboo bike builder located in the Philippines has accepted to build a pilot frame.  We are looking to establish micro-manufacturers throughout the Philippines to make bamboo frames.  Our mission is to make an impact in people's lives, one bike at a time.
